Well for me anyhow. I know this is a kids game heck its just like zelda but what the heck am I doing wrong? I looked at cheats and Sold all my inventory just to fill it with bombs and after 20 bombs the first boss doesnt loose! When My bombs run out I keep sling shoting him and hitting him with my sword till I die! He just keeps flying about! I now have no Inventory no money and no way to beat that boss!!! Im about to snap this disk in half!!!

How the heck do I beat this *bleep*er! This is the first boss for crying out loud!!!!!!

Don't use bombs.

Hit Dran with the slingshot until he lands. Then swap to Toan and slash him. Back up after each slash as there is a chance he will attack you. Swap back to Xiao and repeat.

i thought the 1st boss was hard, it took me 22 tries and finally i beat that bastard, but i data became corrupt

Ive tried the slingshot and slash but it wears on for a half hour and still nothing. No change. After a while My weapons are nearly dead and all my repair weapons magic is gone. Right now I have no money and no inventory due to the tip on line walkthrough guide that said bombs are the fastest way of beating the boss.

Basically it stated slingshot him so he lands. Toss a bomb on him and repeat. So far im baffled. How many hack and slash do I need to do to beat this bastard?

Oh and how come there is no life meter on him?

The game doesn't use a life meter for bosses... The amount of times you have to hack/slash him depends on how strong your sword is. If you're using something weaker, like a Sax or Bone Rapier, it's going to take longer than something more built up.

Regardless, you have to hit him while he's lying on the ground after slingshot-ing him.

after much trial and error and much swearing I found out something that most people probably already know, the first boss has a big weakness to fire, I had my cat girls slingshot equipped with a fire gem and I was doing 3-5 dmg rather than 1 lol its not a great achievement but it will help some people beat him/it a little bit faster

The first boss? EASY

If you can't beat the boss, don't play the game, 'cause we don't want to see a 'dark cloud second, third, fourth, fifth, and son on boss not beatable' thread. You're gonna have trouble at the ice queen.

http://www.vbox7.com/play:09b10684 use this then save your game then go into the dungeon get some abs and build up,use this cheat,save,abs,build up and so on until u have a chronicle or 7th heaven it should take about 20-35 min if u start from a really low sword if u start from a higher around 10-25 min
