Dark Cloud FAQ By JBUCO

Here is a faq for the game Dark Cloud because there are far too many threads on the same subjects.

Q - How do I get the sun gem?
A - Get candy upon completion of Claude or Couscous's house -> Give candy to little girl in Matataki -> Give ointment leaf to Basker -> Give foundation to Jibubu -> Give clay doll to moon person who is looking for rare items near the entrance to Yellow Drops -> Recieve sun gem.

Q - I did not give the foundation to Jibubu when he asked, and now I am having trouble getting him to take it.
A - Wait until quarterway into morning (about same time shops open in Queens) - then go into his house and hope he is there - if it still won't work, try this:

quote The Edwardian
My wife found it fairly easy. She waited until night, then in Georama Mode, she just picked up Jibubu's house to move it, and then just placed it right back down in the same spot (this was when Jibubu's house and the village of Muska Racka were long finished). This somehow performed a "reset", and Jibubu was inside waiting to take the foundation.
Q - What do the yellow stars under the weapons mean?
A - They represent the number of synthspheres that have been added to the weapon.

Q - Is it possible to attain (get) any of Seda's swords?
A - Simply: NO

Q - What are the different key items for each of the back levels?
A - Divine Beast Cave = Tram Oil
- Wise Owl Forest = Sun Dew
- Shipwreck = Flapping Fish
- Sun and Moon Temple = the Key (what was it called exactly? - it looks like a small key okay. )
- Moon Sea = Bravery Launch
- Gallery of Time = Flapping Duster
- Demon Shaft = Crystal Eyeball

Q - How do I arrange all the buildings in the different villages?
A - Simple, if you can not figure it out yourself - you can check out my site here - You will be able to find maps for Matataki, Queens, and Muska Lacka (perhaps Norune in the future)
