To all you unwashed heathens, and troublemaking members as well! - Here are the rules of this forum, follow them or have your posts deleted.

1. No flamatory, derogatory, profane or vulgar remarks are aloud on this forum. (this stays true for the rest of the Neoseeker site as well) - any posts that do not comply will be immediately deleted.

2. Any posts that are offensive to other people will also be immediately deleted.

3. This is to be a constructive, and all together productive forum that is meant to help others.

4. No spamming - any pointless and unhelpful posts can be considered spamming.

5. After a relatively short period of time, (or immediately - based on their content) pointless threads will be deleted.

6. Please do not ask the same question multiple times, especially in different threads. - If you have a question - check the FAQ which I posted, and see if your question has already been answered.

- any members of guests that continuosly abuse these rules will have their screen names and IP numbers reported to the administrators - this can lead to an account ban, and go as far as having you reported to your Internet Service Provider.

- If a thread that does not follow the stated rules is spotted, I ask that the person reading it report it, and if the are a level 5 member or higher, send it to the moderation que.

RPG_Master44 (02/19/03): A special notice to any Super or U/C, please disreguard any of the the members banned from February 18-19 to a Moderator position in this forum. Currently all have shown a lack of disipline and maturity with spamming nearly every thread in the forum.

Resident Dark Cloud moderator Serial Zero reporting in. To cut a long story short, I've moved back to my home town and in essence have moved back into my Neoseeker home. So I'll be checking in here a LOT more often from now on.

The first thing I'm going to comment on is this ridiculous trouble we seem to be having lately regarding spam. I don't claim to be an expert on human emotion but it's become pretty clear to me after reading the posts above that RPG Master and several others are extremely upset.

This shouldn't be the kind of thing a moderator has to see if they've been gone from the site for awhile. It shows a complete lack of respect for the forums and the people who actually need to use them for gaming assistance. It also shows a lack of respect for the moderators that have to spend countless hours cleaning the forum up because somebody decides they want the biggest post count in the universe.

Unless the moderator higher-ups have any objections, I'm going to take it upon myself to get rid of any spammer threads that appear or are already posted. This is going to include the 10+ page "What's your favorite?" style threads. These are completely obligatory topics and the only thing that comes from them is wasted space.

If anybody has any questions or complaints on this topic, please PM me.
