I am in the Wise Owl Forest in the level where you're forced to fight as Boro. Does anyone have any tips for beating levels as Boro? Like how you have to lock-on when you use Xiao. Thanks!

about the most help i can give you is to not fight much. as for locking on i thought he locked on just like any other character. I found that when fighting with him you need to move around a lot. Kind of like a hit and run situation. Sorry i couldn't be more help, it's been a long time since i played dark cloud. OH and if you have any spare gurds or eden things use like one of those.

i would suggest building up his weapon if you are having problems with the level. go to earlier levels of the dungeon or go back to the divine beast cave and work on it. you'll get better with him and his weapons will get better making it a lot easier. also if you have any extra fruits of eden or gourds i would suggest using them. goro is one of the most annoying characters in the game and it takes some skill to use him successfully. just keep at it and you'll notice improvement.

I dunno...Boro can be good i guess...but theres a weapon you get only for him later in the game thats good to synth to your stronger weapons...I wont tell you exactly what it is...but it gives you a crapload more money when you kill an enemy with it...

i believe you're talkin about the big bucks hammer but you don't get that til queens. just keep playing with goro until he gets better. that's really the only way to get past that part of the game.

Well I managed to beat everything in Lv 2 except the boss. And I know how beat him.

I locked on and threw bombs at the Earth Diggers and Witches. That's what killed me every time.

I haven't played the game in a while, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Can't you switch characters right as you're landing the final blow on an enemy and get the experience with the second character. Or is that just with weapons? Or is that just in Dark Cloud 2?

go to the first dungeon drans cave and build him up there
