I read in the FAQ that a 'Flapping Duster' is the item used for the back levels on Gallery of Time. However, I've yet to find one of these.

Actually...I managed to find a couple of Flapping Dusters when I played the game. Just like all the other backfloor items, they are very rare...so it may take a while.

GamemasterAnthony, since when did you find a Flapping Duster? In your dreams? Or stolen from a monster? What did it look like? Did it flap? Exactly where did you find it? Will I ever shut up? Sorry dude. Jus' wondering. You might have the japanese version... ^^;

Well, it's been a while since I've beat it, CS, but I'll try to remember. First, I got the American version, not the Japanese version. As for the duster...it kinda resembles one of those old fashioned feather dusters. Doesn't really "flap"...like all other items in the game, it has no animations.

Oh... okay. Thanx... You might have gotten lucky. Just one more question. Did the characters ride a magic carpet like I predicted? I noctied there was a rug in front of the painting so maybe it hid a secret passage and the rug flies.

BTW, those @!#?@! dusters are one of the RAREST items I've found in the game! It did take me a while to actually get one!

Yeah, it's taken me forever and a day to find NOTHING! SQUAT! NADA! ZIP! ZILCH! Are they dropped randomly by an enemy, or do you have to open up a million and a half treasure chests to find one?

Treasure chests...just like the other backfloor items. Haven't found creatures that drop them yet or give you them via Steals.

AH-HA! So one in every thirty-two thousand and eighty-seven treasure chests hides a Flapping Duster, eh? Let's see if we can't find us one, huh?
