A lot of people have been going on about what they want added to Gears without really thinking about whether that would actually enhance the gameplay experience. I think before you think of what to add, you need to consider what needs to be fixed from Gears 1.

What would you think the major issues with Gears were? I think there are a few weapon balancing issues, the shotgun, boomshot and active sniper are all a little overpowered, and both tags and chainsaws are a little too easy to pull off. Further, the multiplayer modes are all basically the same, so a little variety would be nice.

Lag sucks on Gears 1. It's too hard to get kills without predicting where you bullets will land. If it's like Halo with way better hits it will be good. When I snipe someone's head in Halo 3 it works. In Gears it doesn't.

Sticking to walls in multiplayer is totaly gay.
Also the host advantage, thats extremelly poor.
Single player only needs to be made longer with new weapons and inmproved weapons.

I've already mentioned host advantage, but I'd say the sticking to the walls and the one hit actives from the sniper are two very lame things that need to go as well.

I'm more for a longer campaign. Story in the first was, although brilliant, waaay too *bleep*ing short for my taste.

I had no idea that TLA played Gears.
There's one too many glitches in Gears, though minor. No doubt they'll be fixed, though.

I would like to see some slight differences between the characters, make them more worth the play depending on your style. Perhaps Dom's handling of the gun would be a little better than the rest, or Fenix's reload time would be faster (just an example, I know active reload).

Also, ryan killing me needs to go. It's embarrassing.

but an awesome thing is different curbstomps, Fenix has the standard, Dom would blurt out insane spanish till he explodes, and Cole can make a cool body slam ._.

Personally i love owning the 12 year olds on player matches.
Good sniping practice and generally easy but fun to kill opponents.
I like how when you headshot them they're like "Whoa dude, your like the best at this game ever" In truth i suck pretty bad compared to alot of people.

Seriously, the thing needs to be able to pick up on the terrain far easier, better level mapping aughta do it.
