Manna doesn't even pick up the sniper anymore, so I'm not sure how you can judge him. Only thing Manna is better at is getting active downs though. He was never much of a headshot person.

Most people have peaked with the snipers and are getting worse. I used to be able to make most headshots but now if I get one it's just luck.

It's only because we don't play as much as we used to. I think it's also because a lot of us took a reasonable break from the game, so it was different going back to it. Many of us now think too long when using the sniper, which actually makes it harder to get headshots. There are days when I'm as good as I used to be with the weapon, but those are very few and far between now. I think if I went back to playing it as much as I used to, my form would soon return.

There was a period not too long ago when I took about a month and a half break (maybe more) from Gears, so getting back into it has been a bit of an adjustment.

Plus, I normally just let other people grab the sniper (mainly Curtis) since when I pick up the sniper, I tend to lean on it too much, which causes me to die more often.

More like it causes your allies to die!


I can't count how many times I'm stuck in a two on one and I'm screaming into the mic for help and you just sit back and get active reloads.

Honestly, I could do without actives... a lot of the time they're used as soon as the match starts; someone will fire off three to four rounds and active reload instantly >>

It's a nice feature, but I could just as easily see Gears doing fine without any active reloading.

Exactly what Zephyr said, there's virtually no point in actives. The game would be fine without them.

Yeah, Tom did used to be amazing with the sniper. We used to do player matches with extra snipes quite often, and between us we'd each headshot the entire other team at least once.

Damn you. I just sprayed all the Cola I was drinking on the screen when I read that, George.

Tom was facking ridiculous with his sniper. It was unbelievable some of the shots he would make.
