For those that haven't seen it, chainsaw duels are button mashers, and the new and improved hammerburst is pretty mob-boss. But damn, death animations look so much more awesome.

Gameplay footage was great.

I just saw it, and everything is simply spectacular. The graphics, the gameplay...breathtaking.

I LOVE THE NEW CHAINSAW ANIMATIONS!!!!!! The way you chainsaw a Locust from the torso up like in the first trailer, the chainsaw battle, FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!!!

GT's Pop-Up video notices that when Marcus walks over to the downed locust, there is only one action he can take (shield). Maybe curb-stomping has been removed (I think that the context is important, so if he walks up with a primary weapon he'll curb-stomp, if it's a pistol he'll use the Locust as a shield).

Hopefully curb stomping hasn't been removed. But if it has, then hopefully the shielding is better. I cant think so, because the curb stomp is original, but things do change..

Liking some of the new weapons, especially whatever the weapon he used on the locust climbing the ladder was. Chinsaw battles, good, hopefully they make chainsawing online an actual challenge, and I like the cover system with locust shielding.
Graphic wise, familiar territory, some noticeably improved lighting and body physics there, but I was most impressed by just how much was going on at once, looking down from the derrick, there really was a Locust parade like we saw at GDC!
