I disagree, I believe Killzone will be the shit.

seriously though, I want that game so bad its not funny, I loved the first one too, preferred it over Halo 2 by far. Never took it online though.

When a Locust falls to his knees you'll be able to use him as hostage cover.
Locust neck snapping is now an option.
They've added a new chainsaw animation that was seen in the teaser trailer. Basically, the chainsaw is flipped over, stuck into a Locust's back and is forced up vertically through the torso. Bloody disgusting.
Chainsaw duels are real! The chainsaw victor is the one who can press "B" the fastest in the mini game.

Assault Derricks pack a lot of firepower and do a pretty good job at running over Brumaks.
Gears of War 2 is going to be incredible!

Whoa, did I miss Marcus beating the crap out of that locust in the original trailer? 'Cuz I think that answers if there's going to be a "curb-stomp" thing in Gears 2.

I never seen that part of the gameplay.

Its probably going to be used more often than the curbstomp, but it seems to take up a lot of time as displayed. Easy target if you ask me. :/

True, but it depends. It's not exactly an easy target for a sniper looking to score a headshot, but for anyone else it's as easy as killing a guy who just finished chainsawing someone else. That execution I think should be left for the person who gets the final kill.

You aren't invincible when you chainsaw right now. Atleast, not all of the time. You can shoot a guy while he chainsaws and he'll take damage, but yeah, headshots are just about impossible. Which is lame because I could have sworn you used to be able to pop domes during the animation.

But as you said, great idea. I just get the feel that Gears battles will be a whole lot more intense. Can't wait.

No longer will there be that intense shotgun battle cut short by a chainsaw from behind, without that guy getting some lead going hos way
