I think that they'll have balanced the weapons well, including the Scorcher. They've had so much time to tweak everything. Hopefully it doesn't become like Halo where everyone just rushes to the power weapons at the beginning of the match. ------------------- | |

While you don't want everyone rushing to power weapons, you also don't want everyone rushing to press left on the d-pad because the shotgun is all you need. ------------------- ![]() | |

The scorcher will be practically useless on large, open maps such as Gridlock. A more suited map would be Mausoleum where all the firefights are close together and suffocating. It'll play a bigger part in Annex when defending a base as it could be used as anti-rush...meaning go trigger happy when the whole opposition charges in. ------------------- ![]() Is it bright where you are, have the people changed? The Scorcher is going to be SUCH a cheap weapon. And when I say that, I mean in regards to how you wont really need terrific aim to do damage. You can spray it around and still hurt the opposition. ------------------- | |

I'm hoping the reload is actually quite slow, it's going to be a powerful enough weapon as it is, you don't want the user to be able to fire near continuously with a quick reload. ------------------- ![]() | |

They should also (in addition to slowing down reload speed), move the smaller active reload box to the end of the track, instead of the beginning, like where the lancer's active reload box is. ------------------- | |

Maybe the active reload bar could move slowly, but speed up as it passes over the reload box. Then the gun would reload slowly, and be difficult to active. ------------------- | |

You guys are forgetting that the point of Active Reloading is to have a FASTER reload. If it's only slightly faster, as in, not noticeable, it's a waste of *bleep*ing time. ------------------- quote Tengu | |
