I was mainly referring to the last two Halo games when I said that. I quite enjoyed the campaign for Gears, but I will admit it wasn't exactly spectacular. Gears 2 looks a lot more promising, but I guess time will tell.

And you didn't specify any of that. In the post I was referring to, you were making it sound like the whole game was for casual gamers just because of one difficulty setting. Yeah, call me crazy but I don't think the more casual gameplay he was talking about with that setting is going to affect the Xbox Live gameplay. As for trying to attract a bigger audience, that's just marketing. It always happens if a game is successful enough.
