I've had the same arguement a few times now with my mate about who is greater, Skorge or Raam. He argued that Raam was more brutish, got the job done basically and had a portable troika that he could run around with. I argued that Skorge had a double-bladed chainsaw staff, more of a devious backstory making him more of a villain and that whilst he was a bit of a pussy fight as far as boss battles go, he was probably intended to come back in a Davy Jones/Darth Vader-esque antagonistic plot.

Either way i like them both, Raam because he was just straight-up nasty bastard and Skorge because he's a slippery-jumpy wild loony. But which do you prefer?

Is Skorge Hydra inclusive?

Skorge is bad ass. A chainsaw staff, friggen ninja like reflexes, he beat Tai who was supposed to be "As strong as a Brumak", and I just think the Kantus look cooler and more freakish then the Locust. So I'd have to say Skorge. Raam was cool, but then again, both of them die in rather painful ways.

RAAM, by far. The final fight with him is actually a fight. Skorge, on the other hand, consists of you winning three chainsaw duels and spending the ret of the time dodging shit. Skorge wasn't even a fight, just a series of glorified quicktime events. It's only a fight if you count the Hydra.

RAAM picked up a Troika and harnessed the power of the Kyrll through sheer badassery. He took 20-ish sniper rounds to the face and about 5 or 6 torque bow arrows before dying.

Skorge ran around taking potshots at you, threw ink grenades, before landing and running at you like a *bleep*ing moron and losing in a chainsaw duel with a human. Three times. All before he twirled his mustache, shook his fist, and ran away like a pussy.


I like RAAM.

Raam wins it straight away especially when you are skorge you get a smoke thrown at you and you commit suicide off it

I like the idea of Skorge better, faster, more ninja-like, teh chainsaw staff is badass, too bad the fight was balls and he did shitall. Quicktime events = gay.

RAAM was *bleep*ing epic to fight, but he wasn't a very exciting character overall.

I agree with Dark Dom and yeah the Hydra is inclusive. And let's not forget Skorge's ability to call upon worms or just the Riftworm, that's kind of weird and special. What with RAAM's preferred Kryll.

The very reason i think Skorge had a series of quick events was because they were holding back for a third game.
But the reception he's getting is not very good at all apparently and i'm starting to think that's how Epic were going to determine for him to come back through their forums. Who knows.

I do prefer Skorge as locust variant and character but RAAM was hard as nails as a boss and is one of the hardest boss fights i've ever come across on insane.

I've never stepped out of the light and had a bunch of worms instantly kill me. The Kryll scared me shitless.
