Ok so hearing good AND bad things about the first gears of war i really dont know what to do.
Should i rent the first one or the second one. Iv never played either of them and alot of people have told me that the second one is wwaaayyy better. I dont really care about the story so i dont care if i dont know whats going on in the second one. i just want to shoot the !$#* out of stuff. -------------------  | |

If you enjoy gears of war 2 a lot or wanna know more to the story (some jokes or tidbits reference the first game) then get the first but the second is superior for guns, playing, etc.. Two weapons specifically in the first are shit compared to the second. The Boltok Revolver and Hammerburst are terrible in gears of war 1. In gears of war 2, the hammer burst isn't a pea shooter and the revolver is one of the BEST pistol in the whole game in gears of war 2 whereas it does shit in gow. IMO. -------------------

What, I thought the first was much better than the second >>;
I would buy the first :B then rent the second. Or get one of those two in one packs that are popular these days :B I thought they were both fun games tbh. Main thing that annoyed me about the second was that enemies would come at you like a pack of wolves wheras in the first you can just hide and shoot from far away >> | |

I sold my 360 a couple months ago, and I didn't buy GoW2 because, I sold it by the time it came out. I had the first GoW and it was awesome. I myself, like the PS3 better, but the PS3 has no GoW, yet, GoW is pwnage.
