Questions from a fellow vet
|
Hey it's been a while since ive played this game but im starting to get back into it, before i start playing id like to ask some questions about it.
1) What is the name of each gun and give a brief description of each. 2) I anyone here knows the math/calculations of how much damage or something per bullet each gun does please tell me! Alo if you know the amount of hp players have lt me know! 3) Does scoping ( left trigger ) reduce the damage done per bulet than if you were to not scope?\ 4) in multiplayer what are the differeces between the COG and the locusts, stat wise and is i very noticable? 5) Has anyone defeated Horde mode on insane difficulty by themselves from level 1-50? 6) Do locusts in the horde mode have unlimited ammo?
Thanks!

1.Too much to give description but eh
Lancer Assault Rifle
Full auto, 60 round mag, has the chainsaw. Acts like a submahinegun, can reach out farther like a rifle.
Hammerburst
Semi-auto rifle. Hold trigger for a paced fire, but you can squeeze off shots faster than it's rate of fire. accurate. Good power, more powerful than lancer.
Gnasher shotgun
Just that...shotgun. Lever action. Would break your arm in real life.
COG pistol
Called the Snub Pistol. 12 round, semi auto, tap rate very fast fire. Good accuracy, small scope. Good weapon if shots are directed rapidly on a target
Boltok pistol
Six shot revolver...capable of headshots..pops the top off.. active reload makes the firing rate faster. Great power.
Gorgon pistol
Burst pistol. Four burst per double magazine load. Good power...great if all shots hit with an active reload if you can get close and fire from covered position while you wait to fire the next burst a split second later.
Ink grenade
Poison gas grenade...as provides some cover.
Smoke grenade
Smoke grenade cover as well as a concussive blast that can knock people off their feet.
Frag grenade
You know what it is.
Torque Bow
Teched out crossbow, laser that comes up to aim as you hold the trigger. Must be at a good tension to fire...fires an arrow with explosive tip, that if targeted and fired with enough tension, will cause entry of tip...and instant kill on most humanoid targets.
Longshot sniper rifle
Single load sniper rifle, as in, no magazine. Just single shot...reload one shot before firing.
Mulcher machine gun
Heavy support weapon, it's a Gatling gun., doesn't replace weapons, but is heavy , makes you slow...no running. Firing without aiming releases a heavy torrent of bullets , but is inaccurate. Good up close. Aiming mounts the turret to the ground, or to cover if you've grabbed some...and will deploy a small shield to protect you from some fire, makes the weapon a lot more accurate. Can reach across maps....accurate powerful fire. Press RB to cool down faster.
Troika turret
Fixed automatic turret..
Boomshot
Single shot grenade launcher. Grenades explode on contact. Can reach very far. Active reload adds a spread effect to the explosion.
Hammer of Dawn
Orbital satellite designator. Hold a bead for long enough and you'll direct a satellite to fire down a torrent of hot imulsion-based energy.
Mortar
Another heavy support weapon. Firing without aiming with launch a mortar a short distance on the ground in front of you. Not very effective on enemies...not recommended.
Aiming sets the mortar in correct position, as an indirect fire tool. Aim in the direction you want...distance of the mortar is determined by how long you hold the right trigger to crank the elevation. The meter will always show you what distance your last shot was so that you can judge your shot distance. Mortar has a small carpet bomb affect when it drops down, with maybe a scaled....10m to 30m radius.
