Yeah, it comes down more to popularity than anything else I think, and who doesn't love Sonic? I main Olimar mostly because Pikmin was my favorite gcn game, next to melee. I'm not sure why but I don't want to main Kirby anymore, now that he's a better character... @_@


As for why someone is better or worse... well I can't find anything on that exactly, but I know Here, if you go past the matchups spreadsheet, there are links on how to deal with each character. Can probably find out a little as to why some>others.

Yeah Menkoy, I know how you feel, I used to main Fox but I just dont fell like maining him that much, I know that he is a very good tier character unlike Sonic but Sonic is more important to me, lol, I know that I was gonna buy the game anyway but when Sonic was announced as a character, my mind was: IS OFFICIAL, I MUST BUY SSBB!!

Also, I love sonic, and his games, Knuckles is my favourite of my game, loved him ever since the 1st Movie and game came out, but I also love Sheik and Marth, AND there games, which is why I mained them, I thought it was so cool when they both came out in melee, and I'm glad their back in brawl.

Anyways, I really hope (if another Smash game comes out), they introduce more Sonic characters above all, like Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, or maybe even Silver.

Lol, I didn't use any tutorials, I just looked around last night. I don't plan on getting into graphics, since so many people are, getting into BRAWL graphics now would be kinda pointless, IMO. But it would be cool.

I dont think most of those character that are from the same game series like Sonic will be in the next smash game(if there is one) cuz I think that one third party character is enough per game series from non-nintendo characters. I can see Pacman, Megaman, Bomberman(Too much mans lol), a FF character, and maybe, just maybe, Tails or Knuckles and Gray Fox. More than one character from a game series outside of Nintendo will involved negotiation between companies and all that stuff.

Characters from Nintendo that I can see in another Smash game are:

Isaac
Lyn
Another FF Character or two
Krystal
Samuria Goroh(Come on, F-Zero needs another character)
Ridley(Samus NEEDS another character)(Yeah ZZS is a new character but is just Samus without her armor)
