I dont think most of those character that are from the same game series like Sonic will be in the next smash game(if there is one) cuz I think that one third party character is enough per game series from non-nintendo characters. I can see Pacman, Megaman, Bomberman(Too much mans lol), a FF character, and maybe, just maybe, Tails or Knuckles and Gray Fox. More than one character from a game series outside of Nintendo will involved negotiation between companies and all that stuff.

Characters from Nintendo that I can see in another Smash game are:

Lyn
Another FF Character or two
Krystal
Samuria Goroh(Come on, F-Zero needs another character)
Ridley(Samus NEEDS another character)(Yeah ZZS is a new character but is just Samus without her armor)
Any of the new hunters from the Metroid Series(I mean just look how awesome they look as trophies)
The main villian from DK series.
Little Mac
Bowser Jr/Shadow Mario combination
Midna with Wolf Link

Yeah, I also want Krystal in there (from Star Fox series, right?), we need another girl character for a brawler.

I'd like King K Krool (villain from DK series if that's who you mean) to be in it, because it seems like an unpopular game since just 2 characters from the series are in brawl, which doesn't give it a good name (supposedly)

I'm not so sure Sakurai will be making another Smash Bros. Miyamoto supposedly had to beg him to make brawl, so I'd be surprised if he went and made Smash Bros. 4. With the popularity of the series, someone else will probably be given the task of developing it for the next Nintendo console though.

I can't honestly say I want anyone else as a playable character. Knuckles could happen, but the three characters I wanted in Brawl were added (Olimar, Diddy Kong, Sonic), and I can't think of anyone else that I'd want.

Thanks Heisan for your offer, I take it into consideration, and ask everyone what they think about this. I personally this that is a good idea, you guys have a very organized first page and your clan have potencial to become very active too.
