Project Zero Or Fatal Frames? |
|
Over here in The U.K. the game is marketed and sold as Project zero, not fatal frames, the cover and game are identical in all other respects. I was wondereing if anyone knows why the game is going under differing names? presumable its due to country/region of purchase, I even read that its called Rei Zero in some locations. Can Anyone enlighten me?

Japan > Zero
US > Fatal Frame UK/Europe > Project Zero It was called Project Zero because of Advertising. But I think honestly in the European version there was a translation Error, because Project Zero is also the name of the Developement team that created the Fatal Frame series. It actually happens a lot with video games being renamed based on region and advertising (and sometimes it also has to do with copyright issues) For example, Resident Evil in Japan is called Biohazard. | |
