Maybe a tad like Fallout 3, and it has vehicles! I'll be renting this one for sure!

I don't think it's out til the 21st, but I probably won't get it yet cuz if I do I won't study for my dang tests.... Uhh I wish June was over already.

The entire concept of steam punk influenced weapons is an appealing concept, but after seeing reviews and watching trailers I am caught off guard by the terrible execution of this game. Technologically, they failed in almost every aspect to create a "revolutionary" shooter. The environments may be large and expansive, but very drab and uninteresting with some truly terrible texture work. The fact that there was no cover system implemented was just an awful attempt to "keep the action really fluid". Every technological aspect of this game is mediocre. The voice acting and cut-scenes are something out of a game from 2003 with unnatural, robotic animations and terrible voice acting like something from a B-movie. The only redeeming quality, or rather fun part about this game is the parquor-esque platforming that isn't necessarily original, is actually cool. You know, for all the gripes that I found with the game upon release, I really wanted to enjoy this game, I liked the alternate post-civil war era and the steam punk weapons/robots. I'm also very distraught about the price--$60.00 *bleep*ing dollars! Maybe it will be more appealing when the price drops to say, bargain bin $10. Until then, I can only weep at what could have been.

I was looking forward to this game a lot. I didn't buy it yet, but when I passed my local gameshop once, I noticed it was being sold for €39.99. For those who don't know, that's cheap compared to the usual €70 or so.
That's when I knew something had to be wrong. Boy am I glad I have the internet to warn me about crap games like this. I think the highest result I heard it got was 5.5 out of 10, and that was on some Australian game show. I think they were being generous.

well i went out and bought this against my better judgement...and let me tell you...that's the last time i'll ever do that! this game blows...and it looked so promising too...aw well...
