I want this game so badly! Does anyone know when it's coming out? It was supposed to be released a long time ago.

Where did you hear it was comming out 2/13/2003!!!! I can't find the credible source. Although a bunch of people were saying the same thing playing when I was playing TFC.

I have been waiting since the game previewed at E3 1999. There have been many false promises of when the game will be released. Please give me substancial evidence!

they have canccled it

I knew that when they switched from a modified half life engine to a new graphics engine that this game was doomed. They denied me many good hours of gaming. There was a wasteland in fps for awhile, but now there are plenty of good ones, so I guess the makers feel like they couldnt compete

TFC 2 Ships out on 07/14/03. At least that is what Ive gathered from searching days upon days for a release date.

They've delayed this game for YEARS. It was originally supposed to be based on the Quake II (that right Quake 2) engine back in 1998 (it's original release date!!!). The project took so long, eventually Teamfortress software was bought out. Teamfortress Classic came out as an interum game based on the HalfLife engine and a near replicate of the original TF. Now, according to the EBGames site, the latest release date is set to 6/14/2004. Will they ever release it? Who knows... but it's been promising to be THE BEST GAME EVER for a long time, and it sounds like it might be... just as soon as they release it!!!

just checked that link of yours on eb. Looks like they pushed the ship date to 06/14/04 .. yep 2004.

like everybody else I have been waiting for this game for years...just checked that ebgames link and now it says 11/14/2004...oh well if they don't want our money then we can spend it elsewhere.

I have been playing TFC for years now, and never got the release. I rember thinking over 2 years ago that I would be getting the game soon, but once again delayed.

Yet I still don't find TFC boring yet. Must just be its greatness.

So true. I also have been waiting for litrualy years for this so could secound teamFortress... ;/
But it seems to me they r working on many other things at once half life 2 looks very very Good and counter Strike updates r working fine. but all in all ive really looked forward Tf2. ill still get it when ever it comes out. but by then i think my computer will be to out dated to play it...
