i hope they fixed everything in this and its not a complete insult to the awesome Armored Core franchise like #4 was. they took everything from Last Raven, took a massive dump on it, and released it as a new game.

This game is much quicker, smooth, and more intense than 4. This is basicly the answer to 4's let down.

I don't know what you all are complaining about, since I've never played another Armored Core before 4, but it was a great game. A shitload of customization and strategy, not to mention it looked great and played well.

picked up this game today, anyone know if it's possible to import your AC4 schematics?

It is, but you won't have the parts to do so until you've beaten the game at least twice.

I tried to import them, but it won't let me wierd. Anyways what company did you start off with? I picked Omer due to the new Assault AC.

I went with the independant.
It doesn't effect your parts selection any. You start off with jack and slowly build up a selection in your garage and shop as you play. Once you beat the 2nd path, the entire shop is given to you and at that point you have just about everything baring a few items you find in hard mode and in the two arenas.

ATM I'm rocking a Lahire AC from Omer. It seems like a better version of the Aliyah.

It is for the most part. Me and JG use variations of it in online PvP.

I have a PS3, but I bought the 360 version due the fact I had AC4 on 360 and the lack of updates on the PS3.

What I want to know, is if you started with one company and eventually complete it and new game plus, can you change affiliations? Or is there a path selection?

What company you choose doesn't dictate affiliations, just mostly part selection in the beginning. There are 3 story paths that you can choose from, League, Orca, Destruction.
