I have an idea. In the Megaman Battle Network 3 Blue forum, I got banned temporarily for bringing up old threads. I was told that as a general rule, if the thread was made in the last year, I could reply to it. What I'm suggesting is an extension of this rule (kind of): any threads older than about one year (or whatever time period the mod thinks is appropriate) be deleted, except for those with good information, such as on weapons, etc. This would keep the forum cleaner, and still provide information that could help someone out. You might also have a sticky thread that deals with the older threads, and tells what they're about. I'm not suggesting updating it for the newer threeads; that would be too much work. Instead, you create a thread guide for older threads, and update it about once a year.
Anyway, that's my idea. I don't know if it's possible, but at least the idea's out there.

Threads are kept and deleted depending on their value to the forum. Typically, the only threads that aren't kept are the advertisements, one post redirections, spam posts, and etc. Everything else is considered forum history and will not be deleted.

All right. I realize that there is a lot more work involved in my idea than there seems to be at first glance, but at least I got it out there for consideration.

We need a forum for people to share what tactics they use in ordinary battle against genaric enemies (you know, just general stratagies). This is an important topic that needs to have a home of its own; after all, tactics makes up 1/4 of the name of the game.

Forum members are allowed to create any games they want in this forum within reason.

That means that I don't want to see 15 game threads and only one other thread. Also, all new game threads must have at least some discussion in them. You can't just say Ritz or Marche. You must have a reasoning behind them.

Yes in the case of a thread like that you should try and give a reasoning why you attack or defend a certain person.

I will soon be reviewing the games in this forum and try and tweak them to a more intellectual level if needed.

Well, Aeris and Cloud are in the original tactics for the PS1... Maybe there will be a sequel with more charecters? The only suggestion to Square-Enix i have is: WHY ARE THERE LAWS???

Would i be banned for reviving the "create your own ability" thread? Because i missed it by two years and i want to add to it
or could i just create another thread with the same or similar name and do the same thing? or would that be locked down?

The new thread is perfectly fine. With the flow of new users to the forum it would be better to just start a new one with updated guidelines and a chance for everyone to once again post new characters related to this game.
