ok, lets get started. I have noticed many people asking for help on this pain in the *bleep*. So i am going to create this guide for all of you. It might not be the best, but it should still help.

Bite: swings head whilst biting. (low damage)



Hip check: using all power of it's hip and swinging it towards an object. (meduim-high damage)



tail whip: swinging it's tail in a 45 degree angle. (low damage)



stalk: walking towards you slowly until it reaches it's target. may attack after it. (no damage)



fire beam: raising its head then attacking with a fire line/beam in a long range. (high damage)



moving fire beam: rasing its head then attackng with a moving fire line/beam in a long range. (high-extremely high damage)



roar: swinging it's head up in the air, whilst screaming. (no damage, but leaves a great opportunity to attack its target)



charge: running towards the target until it reaches it. ( medium damage)



poofy gas thingy: farting out some red gas, hurting its target. (low damage)

guide with the SnS(khezhar)
---------------------

okay, here is the guide. Hopefuly you guys have fought a gravios before and have figured out that they are big rocks, yet act like a *bleep*ing fat *bleep*. You may think these guys might have hard steps to follow but they dont. I thought these guys were "this" Black grav was extremely hard, until i figured out what to do, so i want to help you guys, so you dont get Mad and stomp on your PSP or throw it a mile away till it breaks. You would not want that that happen. lets get started finally!

Gravios: A large wyvern found in volcanic zones. They possess a fire breath attack and the ability to emit a sleeping gas. They also have extrememly hard scales that deflect most weapon attacks.

If you notice how it says it has extrememly hard scales that deflect most weapon attacks, well if you attack where i tell you, you will most likely not bounce off!

Okay here come the actual guide.....finnaly.

step 1: Okay, go set the quest up.( remember this is HR6 guild quest.) Then...loading....la-la-la-la...yay you get sent in a random area. I didnt post this item because you dont neccesarely need it. use your "farcaster" to go to base camp. then go to are 4 i belive or where ever the bullfango is. make sure this is the first thing you kill, he will not respon. If you dont kill this and you're fighting the rock on legs, you will most likely die.

step 2: Alrighty now that he is dead, go to area 8 he should be at the end of the area. You dont really need to worry about the Remobra, they arent that big of a deal. after you have found him. just sit a good distance away so you dont get hit with his roar when he sees you. after that, "still" dont go attack. wate until he has stocked you, or charged at you.

step 3: Now, that you has done those steps, throw a flash (this is when your high grade earplug or shield comes in handy) and go attack his stomach. keep doing this until you run out of flash bombs. After this, his stomach might be off a little but not all the way.

step 4: When done with your flashes, set one shock trap down. once he gets in it, set your 2 bombs down, then either kick it or set a sm barrel bomb. If you have time set you 3rd bomb down. Now the stomach will be off, or even completely off!
step 5: Now that this is over he should be halfway dead. (or at least very close.)Here comes the tricky part.He will be moving from zone to zone, and constantly fire beaming you. dont ever attack the stomach again after you have done the the steps above (unless you want to risk it and do some extra damge on him.) I say this because usually after this his poofy gas will come from underneath him. This gets very annoying after a while. so when he does do his fire beam, attack his wings (attack his claws on his wings to be exact) then after the o+/\, /\, /\, combo dodge to the right or left. just keep doing this process and you will probably never get hit.

step 6: Keep doing the tactic above until your items are delivered. When they are, go get all you stuff needed. then go find him. Set another shock trap down, and set your 2 supply large barrel bombs down, (after he is in it, so he doesnt fire beam them), then use your small barrel or kick it again. now he should be very close to dying.

step 7: Repeat the wing attacking and he should die soon.

guide for the Hammer(Khezhar)

Set another shock trap down, and set your 2 supply large barrel bombs down, (after he is in it, so he doesnt fire beam them), then use your small barrel or kick it again. now he should be very close to dying.

step 7: now that you have done these, start doing you super pounds again on the wing, maybey even the triple pound if your good enough. He should die soon enough

step 8: scroll down farther after the carve faq, to learn about his rage mode.

guide for Great Sword(Toetancham)
--------------------

1) Kill the Bull, you know the drill.

2) When at the Gravios, use a 1 stage GS charge on his wing, it will cut right trough it. if you have a GS with green sharpness, do a 2 stage charge.

3) if the Gravios does something other then spamming beams (a charge, for example), chaise it down and do an unsheathe attack on his tail. you maybe have a chance of cutting it.

4) If you get bored doing this, you can always use some Flashbombs and hack away at his tummy.

The hip check can easily be dodged bye rolling to left or right.

step 6: Keep doing the tactic above until your items are delivered. When they are, go get all you stuff needed. then go find him. Set another shock trap down, and set your 2 supply large barrel bombs down, (after he is in it, so he doesnt fire beam them), then use your small barrel or kick it again. now he should be very close to dying.

step 7: now that you have done these, start doing you stab and then upper-cut with your LS, and special-ing the wings with your duels on the wing,. He should die soon enough

just repeat process "7", and he should die very soon!

guide for the bow(Khezhar)

okay i'll make this one a little brief since it's quite easy

step 1: kill the bullfango as said above

step 2: Alrighty now that he is dead, go to area 8, he should be at the end of the area. You dont really need to worry about the Remobra, they arent that big of a deal. after you have found him. just sit a good distance away so you can attack with peirce(alwayse attack with your Charge Lv's 2,3, and 4. never with you 1'st unless you need to)

step 3: Now that you have done the fallowing start throwing your flashes, so he doesnt fire beam you. He will be in flashes for at least 10-15 seconds.

step 4: he should roar or start going crazy when he is flashed.

step 5: attack using you rapids or peirces on his stomach or head, while using dragon. Attack the wings, and the head when your using a water weapon

step 6: alwayse try to stay to his side so his fire beam doesnt hit you.

step 7: if you keep doin step "6", you should never get hit.

step 8: after a while your supplies should be delivered. Use a farcaster if you brought one. then go back to the rock on legs. Set a shock trap down, and lure him to it. set your two supply large barrel bombs down, then blow them up with your bow, or sm barrel bomb.

step 9: set the rest of your shocks (shock trap) down, and just attack using the "step 6" method.

step 10: reapeat step "6" and he should die soon

...this Faq is mainly for Hammer users. When he is in rage mode (red or black smoke coming out of his mouth), he is much faster and stronger. instead of using the super pound or tripple pound, use the O, /\, combo, or maybey even the
/\, /\ combo.
...when using SnS, you must act quicker, not hard to manage since SnS's are very fast.

I tried this quest earlier with daimyos warbow IV, but only had 185 defense! I take it this was a big mistake!!

well indeed it was it couldve taken you decades possibly the whole 50 minutes without losing to kill him. The biggest help is to have HGE (high grade earplug) Because when you flash him he roars nonstop and it gives you massive belly hits
