ant tips on killing that rajang on the 9star elder cat
its the only thing between me and akantor sorry i locked in the thread index and i didnt see a rajang topic im using my usual death stench S and blango decimater (im trying to hunt for tails but its not the subject) thats my first rajang to fight and broke his horn and tryed with the other but he does so much damage i kept on attacking him from the side and some how he still get me T.T atm im farming to get los soul u so i can block his rawrs i know flash bombs doesn do me any good  please help thanks | |

try sleeping it (high sandman) forgot what its called and then blast it with LBB+

With Rajang, always move to his Right (your Left). That makes a lot of his attacks miss. If you're wanting Horns, I'd recommend Shock Traps to keep him still while you work on his face. The main reason for this is because it's actually safest to attack Rajang's back legs while he's doing his Thunder Beam attack. Unfortunately, this doesn't get his Horns broken, so you don't unlock his armor.
You've got the right idea in terms of element: he's weakest to Ice. However, I'd take the time to upgrade it to the Blango Destructor, as you'll get better damage out of it. As for your armor, I think you can do better. I'm relatively sure Rajang doesn't need ESP, and the weapon you're using doesn't have a Status, so there's no point to having the armor. Personally, I'd probably go with full Ceanataur S gemmed for Reckless Abandon+1. Properly gemmed, the set gives Attack Up [Small], Reckless Abandon+1, and Sharpness+1. This setup, along with the Meat/Veggie meal in the Kitchen and Powercharm and Talon, gives your Blango Destructor White Sharpness, 1008 attack, and 30% Affinity (compared to Blue Sharpness, 864 attack, and 15% Affinity). In other words, your damage output with the Blango Destructor while wearing the set is going to rise dramatically. Since Defense isn't going to be much of an issue (see the first two sentences of this post), you're free to concentrate your armor on damage output. -------------------

Frankly, I'd prefer to have suggested a Sharpness+1, Reckless Abandon+1, and Sharp Sword set, but you need the Akantor Waist and Helm for it, so that went out the window. Still, the Ceanataur S isn't a bad set, so it'll work.

Try a sns it'll be a breeze. Death stench is the ultimate sleep bomber armor, gem for bomber which increases bomb strength combined with status attack up = uber pwnage

Just learn all its moves, get a good damage bow (Ice works) WITH sleep arrows if possible and bring:
- 5 Flash bombs - 10 Flash bugs - 10 Bomb materials - Book of combos 1,2,3,4,5 - 20 sleep coatings - 2 trap tools - 2 genprey fangs - 1 shock trap - 3 LBB (LBB+ if possible) - 1 SBB And never stand directly infront or behind it, keep shooting (break the horns for bonus rewards). Flash bomb it in golden mode, trap it in normal mode. Sleep about what you think halfway through the fight, then bomb it with 2 LBB's. You can use a shock trap followed by 1 LBB and 1 SBB for extra damage later on. Other then that, i would just advise you to avoid its attacks and it will die  | |

OMG i did it without me being killed muahahahahaha
lol i had to the quest few times though thanks all i used carneter armor worked hard for blango destructer XD thanks all ill shell never do this again lol p.s blangonga tail doesnt cut off as Xeros said it kinda breaks XD speical thanks for swk3000 | |
