So how do you guys think this should go this year? Personally, Id like a more revamped version of the Rumble. Like, for example, you know how in 08 even if you were the flippin Great Kahli, if two people grappled with you, you were out of there. This should not happen. For bigger people it should take more superstars to get them out of the Rumble and even for normal people (I.E Matt Hardy) the meter should not go down so damn fast. Also, I think they should allow more characters in the Rumble at one time, not just 6 wrestlers then the whole Rumble stops lol. Another cool feature would be to be able to go under the bottom rope for a certain amount of time, then come back into the Rumble, like how Vince and Jericho and a few other people have done over the years.

And thats just a few ideas to improve it. What do you peeps think?

I'd like to see elimination finishers. For example, HBK can superkick someone from the apron eliminating him, or perhaps the Big Show chokeslams someone out of the ring.

I also like your idea about the way huge superstars are easily removed by two superstars. It should be more realistic like in the real Royal Rumble. It should take a number of superstars to take Khali down. It would certainly be interesting to see.

Since the Fighting Styles are indeed coming back, I think if your superstar is Dirty then he can go out of the ring by the bottom rope and cheat his way to victory. The superstar can be stopped if a new superstar comes in from the ramp.

Ped brings up a valid point. I'd love to see something different, like Ped stated, finishers, or perhaps even a hurricarana out of the ring if your superstar is a high-flyer. That would be great.

I like the idea ped, that would look awesome people with finishers that could eliminate opponents easily if they have a finisher.

The whole thing needs re-doing. There should be more of a time gap between entrants, and the eliminations should be more life like, and not as easy. Plus you should have some old school Royal Rumble type stuff, like holding onto the bottom turnbuckle for a while, and skinning the cat.

Come to think about it, have you ever seen a superstar eliminated by being shoved by the apron? I mean like the animation in the game? I haven't and it looks weird, since in real life you could counter that easily. They should change it to hanging to the bottom rope like Jaffers said. It would be better to look at than the old animation.

Something that bugs me is that they are too easy to elimanate. Especially the bigger guys it should be way harder to elimanate them. The only downside is that the rumble may take a long while.

THey really do need to sort out the Royal Rumble.

The idea's Ped bought up are pretty cool.

I'm not sure the PS2 could handle that, but the PS3 could. I think it's all about the platform and the physics engine.

The player should get 3 "lives" aswells as the stored finisher saved by lives i mean if you're about to be eliminated but went you were thrown over you had some "royal rumble meter" full you should roll back in the bottom rope instead of being knocked off.

They should bring back the 07 "lift and throw UCM" Rumble thing, watching Khali throw people over the ropes after carrying them was hysterical

There could be a great reversal for some of those moves too. Example, Edge goes for a spear, you dodge him and he goes straight through the ropes. Ok, maybe not...
