Hate to say it, but i agree with myself. OTD please.

This place is pretty boring G and even you noticed I'm sure. So let's get one and see how it works out.

You're grasping at straws. What if November is two and a half months away? The reason they say "things will pick up in November"(and when you think about it, things should really pick up around Sep/Oct) is that more info concerning the game will come out. That will garner a good two three threads, and then there's the Countdown thread which will start. You're saying that won't help either? Considering it has helped in the past SD! forums to begin with? Right. Oh, and same members going into that thread? What else do you expect, people from Loungin' or the Music forum coming in here? :S

I'm not flatout against an OTD, but it clearly looks like you're grasping at straws here. Many things can be done to boost this forum's activity. The off-topic discussion thread shouldn't be looked at as the "trump card" last-resort 100%-effective stratagem to boost the forum's activity. Yes, most of the time, it will work, but it's not always in the forum's best interests and if G feels like so, so be it.

And your claiming of the forum dying? All you have to do is participate. Post in the threads, open some, do.. something, or at least suggest something worthwhile. And I'm generally speaking for everyone, not just you. I mean, already your "1000 things before the game comes out" idea isn't bad at all(I'm not a fan of that thread for the record, but it's better than just "OTD! OTD! OTD!")

It just looks like some people fold their arms, watching the forum crumble and step in once in a while to scream "OTD" in the mod's ears.

I have nearly posted in every thread. I don't want to repeat everything I've said. With no new info we have nothing new to talk about so that's why I'm screaming "OTD".

If not OTD, how about a CWM?

An OTD would help establish the "community" in preperation for the game's release

More feedback on the idea please.

IMO, an OTD would attract more members to the forum not to mention bringing some life to it. I'm all for it tbh.

If you're going to liven this place up, don't do it with an OTD.

OTDs are usually swarmed by the forum regulars and there is little chance that it would attract new members. What this forum needs is a group of new members.

Think about it, how did we get Mustafa Rehman? RKO WORLD CHAMP? Cerebral Assasin? and ZTR?!

You need to ask yourselves, what made you join this forum? What made you register Neo? To join in an OTD? Aw hell no.

I joined the 06 forum for the Graphic Battles thread mainly, then I branched off to roleplaying. I was a guest during first SmackDown! vs. RAW game, and only registered thanks to the battles thread.

I say have the OTD as a last resort.

I still think we should have a vote for it. Cause it looks like there's an even amount that do and don't. So....who'd all wanting a vote for this? For some reason...the older members (Haz, Ico ect.) don't want it. But some of the newer members do.
