Since I'm the first poster here, I figured I'd give this place all it needs.

I am CAPITAL BETA, I heard about this game from a friend, it seems it exsists after all, but looking at the trailer, it looks like a cheaper version of sonic & the secret rings.

Ah hello all people looking I am the infamous quarxyz know in sadx, sa2b, and the pm ttyd forums. And to say something this does NOT look like a cheape version of rings, its bringing back sonic(well it looks like it)
I dont have any next gen cnsoles or a ps2 but maybe my brother in law will buy but more than likely he wont becuase hes losthope in sonic alhtough he did like sa2(b)
and hes a big gamer he was there when sonic was released but mmaybe he will get it.

Sonic does NOT need revitalisation, the games sell well enough, although, sonic 06 REALLY didn't go down too well.

I think they do sonic heroes was bad ebough.

this game looks way better than the secret of rings a lot better graphics

I'm Gamma_128, everyone calls me Gamma. And I'm tired of people calling this a sequel to Secret Rings, it looks nothing like it. It's clearly a side-scroller, which Sonic and the Secret Rings was not... Now that aside, I guess it looks pretty cool right now. I'm not gonna get my hopes up, tho, as Sonic games as of late have been pretty disappointing.

EDIT: Apparently the game is made up of side-scrolling and full 3D segments. My bad.

Im Shadow warrior 9, the graphics look nice but so did the graphics in sonic'06, hopefully the gameplay is good and im interested in the "hedgehog engine" as well.

what do graphics matter? I like super mario 64 more than super mario sunshine and sunshine has beter graphics graphics do not matter

And I still can believe he sad CHeaper version of rings, what weve been waiting for another sidescroller and he says RINGS rings wassnt an aold sonic sidescroller.

It's hard to be optimistic considering the quality of 3D Sonic games since... Sonic Adventure.

I liked sa2 also, but yeah i know my point was have an optimistic outlook being pecimistic is boring!
