In this week's Jump Magazine, KOEI has announced a new Dynasty Warriors game for the PSP, titled "Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid." This game is based on DW6, but also adds new features such as the Shin Musou Kakusei, a somewhat upgraded version of Musou Rage that comes with a hyper-powerful, somewhat elemental, transformation of Dragonball Z proportions.

A quest/conquering style multiplayer game similar to the wildly popular Monster Hunter series by Capcom, Dynasty Warriors Multi Raid will be released this winter in Japan.

The teaser image depicts the transformed Dynasty Warriors, pulsing with energy, sieging a castle like super-powered demi-gods. Zhao Yun's armor has become a spiny explosion of ice crystals and his hair a huge stack of bluish-white spikes. What appears to be Sun Shang Xiang is making an impossibly-high leap followed by a burning trail of light. Xiahou Dun darts across the sky like a tearing bolt of lightning while Lu Bu smolders with a volcano's aura of rage, standing on the rampart.

I can see it now! Liu Bei on the verge of destruction, when Zhao Yun goes Supersaiyan and murders all!

This is so stupid tbh, first going further from history with DW6 and now Super Saiyans. Oh well, at least it's something new.

unlike you other guys, and if this is ever released in the US.I might pick this one up whenever(if ever) I get a new PSP(and an extremely protective case)

It's probably just going to be Xtreme Mode, except somehow they'll make it MH style. but if they were cool they'd make it like... idk, I just see potential that's not going to happen.(also taken that I had no friends interested in MH, it kinda killed the value. cause the bulk of my fun I had on Xlink Kai)

thank god they got rid of that horrid move along the blocks and complete a certain mission system and can actually port now. not to mention ZOMFG SSJ4 LU BU!!!! no srsly that'd be entertaining. I just hope they don't shortcut it and give everybody their generic weapons back whoever got an upgrade in DW6 special but... this is koei. stuff like that just doesn't happen.

oh well. *goes back to waiting for WO2*

*Zhang He - A dominatrix with too much make-up and disturbingly tight leather clothes
*Wei Yan - A crocodile-man that breathes fire
*Pang Tong - A giant moth that blows away enemies
*Xiahou Dun - A Demon that can shoot lazers out of its eye hole
*Dian Wei - A bull with a giant nose ring
*Sima Yi - A spider-like creature with 4 arms and 4 legs. Each are attacks with strings of web
*Xu Zhu - A carnivorous troll that tramples and eats enemies
*Cao Ren - A small boulder... Can be reused for sieging castles or be pushed down a hill
*Zhen Ji - A giant bagpipe (provided she was given back her flute)
*Huang Gai and Huang Zhong together - A really old person that complains about young folk
*Zhuge Liang - A bird with giant fans for wings that shoots energy balls at people
*Dong Zhuo - A fat mess that melts all over the ground

I think Lu Xun would be a fire bird creature such as Phoenix and all of his attack will be fire elemental.

How about Liu Bei? He would still be looked like a peasant, huh? Even if he turned to be a demi-god?

Yeah Lu Xun would most likely be a phoenix or something. Thats a tough one with Liu Bei. Maybe he'd turn into a king with super strong attacks and a healing aura for allies.

Absolutely agree about the second. But not the first. I think Liu Bei would be useful as a medic when he doing the musou rage thingy or sonmething. Not more than that.

As for Liu Bei,I think it's quite obvious.He grows back his old facial hair providing untold strength and over used one liners.

Although that pirate dude does look interesting.
