Spamming is found in many different forms, but can be avoided over half the time if you simply use common sense. In short, spam is posting something that is useless, stupid, or has no discussion value. Here are the common ways of spamming:


• One Word/One Line Posts | Example: "Wazzup", "Lol", "Hey I'm back".
  • There is very rarely a time where it is completely necessary to only post one sentence, and it's even rarer to really need to post one word. These types of post add no value to the topic, and if they are short enough they won't even increase your post count. Now, if the sentence is long and worth something, then that's okay. You should be able to figure out when that is the case.


• Off-Topic Posts | Example: (In a Harvest Moon related thread) Last night I watched all six episodes of Star Wars. It was awesome!
  • It's fairly easy to see why you shouldn't do this. Please stick to the topic of the thread, and only create threads to do with this game.

Very simple: do not post two times in a row in the same thread. The only exception is if you are bumping, or reviving, a thread. But even then you must have waited 24 hours from your previous post.
