Reincarnation 2 |
|
Hi guys, what's the best level to reincarnate?
Was it when you're already able to be a genius? But, how could I earn 5000 mana points??? Thank ya. (forgot about the other thread, sorry.) Off-topic Note: My laharl killed a level 75 dragon on chapter 6, he jumped from level 26 to level 37. Yaaay! Too bad I only managed to kill one. Depends. But the best overall is in the 1000's or so. Doesn't take too long to get to in the post game. However, because it is relatively easy to get to, you'll slowly bleed levels from skills and weapon mastery, unless you managed to gain the levels back by the time you transmigrate again.
To be honest, I only suggest you reincarnate a few times at high level to the highest tier (assuming there are multiple tiers, which only applies to creatable characters), and leave it at that. Awesome weapons, armor/equips, and weapon mastery, are more important than transmigrations. Yeah, that is a good area to get a nice boost. -------------------

It might SEEM like a lot, but in the post game, with some good equips and staticians, you'll reach 1000 before long.
Even faster if you're strong enough to make use of 'stronger enemies' bills. But early on, I guess you could transmigrate as soon as your character has enough mana to do so. Not really worth it for the main story though. -------------------

Is there any shortcuts, or do I have to do the leveling in the hard way?

Not really.
There IS an exploit in the PSP version, dunno if it exists in the DS version. After passing some 'better products' bills (I think getting to product rank 6 or 7 or something), as well as 'glasses' bill, Foresights appear on the list. In the PSP version, some foresights came with pre-subdued high level specialists. All of the 'gains' specialists were maxed out (and then some). That is, Staticians, Managers, Brokers, and Armmasters. Staticians and Armmasters being the best of the 4, as they're great for getting power, faster. 300 staticians boosts your EXP by 300% (So 4x exp gains per kill), and Armmaster boosts weapon mastery leveling (again, 300 max, for a total of 4x). Every level of weapon mastery boosts that weapon's strength (when equipped) by 5%. Maxed out at weapon mastery of 255, you get 1275% boost to weapon stats. Manager boosts mana gains, but that's worthless in the long run (case in point, both my majins have the max amount of mana possible. I think that's 999999 or something, mana) Brokers boost money gains. Good early on (like mana boosts were), but aside from purchasing the music, you don't need it after a while.... But if that doesn't exist....Well, finding good items (legendary items preferably), and ones with the right specialists (the aforementioned ones), will boost your power in the long run. -------------------

Gack, I've never seen those specialists before..
I only saw the broker though...wow, 300 of those specialists?? But it's really hard to gain those, right? Not many items appear with those kind of specialists. ------------------- "Can you meet me halfway?"

Certain items always have certain specialists. I'd look online for you, but I'm in a rush. Just search thoe specialists plus 'always on item' or something.
Well, it would take a while to get them, yeah... -------------------

Darn, I just know it would take me hundreds of hours before I beat this game completely.

Depends on how familiar you are with the game, whether you use the glitch/exploit, and what you mean by 'completely' XD
But yeah, between my PS2 version, partial replay on the PS3 (using PS2 version), and the PS3 version, I have over 400 hours I think, on this game... -------------------

Lol, cuz there's a bunch to do. Like leveling up items, leveling up characters, going into different worlds, bribing senators, raising ranks, etc, etc,. Good thing it's all fun or I won't cope up. ^^
You've beaten the PS3 version? ------------------- "Can you meet me halfway?"

re: Reincarnation 2 |

Like I said, it was the PS2 version,I just played it on th PS3.
Speaking of PS3, I haven't even completed the main story on Disgaea 3 (which is the PS3 disgaea). Even though I was easily strong enough 10's of gameplay hours ago (I item worlded a lot)...I can own the main story without trying, I'm sure... Well, the way I see it,'completely', as far as reasonably goes, involves taking down Prinny Baal. But 100% Elite complete would involve pwning a level 9999 Prinny Baal with a maxed out character (soloed), have all items (and all level 100 rank 40 items with maxed out stats)....But that is just a bit much >_> -------------------

Statistically, at level 1000, your character ends up not getting the maximum bonus stats IIRC. I usually reincarnate at at least level 2000 Genius.

re: Reincarnation 2 |

Actually, the number I remember hearing (as being the best to transmigrate as), is 2000, where you don't get so much bonuses after that point....
Not sure about that, I don't bother transmigrating much TBH. -------------------

I don't know why transmigrating appeal to me much, but going back to level 1 after reaching level 2000 seems to be impractical.
