actually it feels like it took a positive step back....the more fun games in the MK series have always been the earlier ones, im talking Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, Mortal Kombat 3, once deadly alliance came around...different fighting styles..weapons?...just didnt feel like mortal kombat..this game feels like a fresh blast from the past

one thing that isnt very MK is DC super heroes/villans...that really isnt MK either, but it is still awesome that they did that and i wouldnt change that...MK vs Marvel wouldve been cool too

OH! one thing that HELLA bugs me is no "M" rating not having an Mature rating is taking so much away from the game and I HOPE the creaters realize this

They couldn't have an M rating. DC was heavily involved how their characters were portrayed so that obviously meant some of the violence would have to be altered. DC forbid having their superheroes use Fatalities to which the developers agreed with, especially for such icons as Superman and Batman who rarely if ever kill anyone. The game still feels like an M rating, and if that's all you care about is what rating your game has been rated, then it's quite pathetic because a lot of great quality games have a T or even an E rating. DC wouldn't have agreed to the game had it been rated M. That's just fact and something you'll have to deal with.

The only complaint I have is this isn't very "next gen". As Deadly Alliance revolutionized and catapulted MK back onto the top of the gaming pyramid and was met with just as successful sequels, this game feels like another sequel rather than being more inventive. It was also a test run, incorporating two franchises together. If you have the Xbox version and loved it, prepare to enjoy it even more because it's well known it was programed for DLC. I personally can't wait to see Doomsday released so I can pit him against Superman, and if the rumors are true, we could possibly see the first batch of new fighters available after the holidays.

if they didnt want batman or anyone to do fatalitys to finish off people then why didnt they make the fatalitys something like the random ass MK2 arcade game falling from the skys in MK3 (wasnt it like a friend ship or something from NightWolf, he also turned into raiden), but instead it is a cage or maybe jail or even uppercut them into a jail cell, or they should release an M version, and i think the new MKs are great the weapons and all that.. yeah i miss all the old stuff, but sometimes its just really fun to cut the shit outta people.....please next time dont release an MK game that is rated under M or just make an M version.... and WHO THE *bleep* CARES about batman shouldnt kill people.... its just a game... i mean if you stick to the comics/movies/cartoons then WTF did i miss something i dont remember ever see that mortal kombat coming to Gotham or anyother place.... wow i dont think ill spend $60 on this this isnt mortal kombat midway please stick to the good stuff not the 5 year old pussy no killing stuff... batman and all the other no killing people should have a hara kiri and it will be the end of making a non MK mortal kombat also i think MK:A was the best i really like the kreate a fighter and MK 3 was *bleep*ing sweet so was deception

Come on you guys they put alot of work into this game and they should be proud of making this game great. What else do yea want?.

I reckon the game is pretty good. I like the story mode, and the fighting. The only thing I dislike however would be the Xbox 360's D-pad on the control, it sucks big time.
