can you play as venom in this game?

Pretty sure you can't unfortunately.

I would really love to play another game using Venom.Ultimate Spider-Man doesn't count because I don't like the Ultimate universe.

The original Venom is my number 1 favourite Marvel villain.

Ditto here. I used to like the Ultimate univers, but then it got all depressing. USM was pretty fun though, chucking cars at helicopters and what not. I was a bit dissapointed at the villan roster though.

Is it just me or has only one else noticed that every game that lets you play as Venom also includes Carnage?

i wish that there will be a game that will let you play as venom and carnage.

NO, you can't play as Venom, but you can switch between the red and black suits at any time during gameplay. No pausing, totally on the fly. Each suit has its own set of combos, the red being more speed and web-based, with black suit leaning more towards brute strength and some really cool tendril attacks. Venom does play a huge role in the game, however (it is a symbiote invasion, after all), and there are a multitude of symbiotic enemies of varying types that you'll have to battle. This is the best spider-man game yet, in my opinion.

Let me rephrase that, every game that lets you play as Venom, has Carnage as one of the bosses, usually the final boss.

Maxamam Carnage, Seperation Axinitey, Ultimate Spiderman etc.

I do agree this is the best game so far, but it gets a bit tedious. I'm at the point no where I ignor civilans. (Hey, in my derfense, I DID the rescue civilans part 5, which took me almost 2 hours)

I hope in the future they make a game that lets you play as other characters though. BC, Daredevil and Moonknight all have grapelers.
