K I know it's a very small problem but in my ending i chose the red suit which lead to the black suit being destroyed. but after defeating venom i chose the black way for venom to die and the suit came back on. Petty i know but don't u think they could've come up with a better ending if you do choose the red way?

Meh, the game is good, but it does have several plot holes. Did anyone else catch the bit with the first Venom fight?

Uh, she just called him by his first name, and there were several paramedics present at the time. If any of them read the paper they would be able to make the connection.

And there were plenty of other holes too. Spiderman throwing the infected people off the roof, and not even trying to catch them also stuck out in my mind.

Also they never bothered trying to explain why the Venom suit started replicating, or how. To date the Venom suit has only had 6 offspring, and 4 are dead. Carnage and Scream are the only ones left.

Over all, its a good game, but they left too many loose ends and didnt do much detail work.

Yeah I thought it was strange that he would so freely throw people off roofs.But then again, you can do exactly the same in SM2.Maybe he's the Todd McFarlane SM lol. You're obviously a massive SM fan so you may know what I'm talking about.

You bring up a good point about it being post Civil War, everyopne did find out who Spiderman was, the problem with that is after 'One More Day' it got reconned and his identity is once again secret. That and Eddy is no longer Venom, he's 'Anti-Venom' with a cool new White Sym suit. The orginal Venom Suit is on Matt Gargen (Aka The Scorpion) now.

If this is current then Spidey's not married or even with MJ, heck, their not even friends at the moment. Suposidly he hasnt seen her in like, 10 years.

Now, I'm not saying the game is bad, far from it. I love this game. I just wish they had gone back and refined it and smoothed out a few bumps and scratches first.

As for Todd's, SM, to bad Spawn wanst one of your assists eh? lol.

I have been a SM fan for about 13 years.

I still have my SM toys from when I was a child.I still at times by SM toys if they look REALLY cool.This year I bought this awesome looking Venom toy.

I'm not fond of Eddie Brock not being Venom any more.I've seen pics of Mac Venom and I hate the way he looks.

Your not missing much, trust me. As far as I'm concerned, Spiderman died when he sacerficed his marrage with MJ to bring Aunt May back to life through his bargin with Myphesto. She's like what? 90? So she died from a bullet ment for him. She's going to die eventually. At least with MJ there was the chance for Spidergirl.

Added to that Marvel died in my book when they killed off Steve Rogers. (The orginal Capt America) the new one sucks, and he dosnt even really use his shield, he uses guns. Like the new Hawkeye said,

HW: 'You didnt succed the mantle, you stole it. You even stole his costume. Give the man some dignity and don't try to pass yourself off as him.'

I like that chick, one of the few new hero's thats not a waste of ink.

If you do for some reason want to keep up with the series, just do what I do and look it up on wikipedia. That way you dont waste money.

Web of Shadows isn't based in the 616 Universe, but is another Amalgam type game (borrowing from several sources), much like Ultimate Alliance and the XMen Legends games. That said, it's sloppy in areas. Thought the intro was a bit messy too.

That makes some sense I guess, but X-Men Legends was based on a 3 part miniseries which focused on a young mutant named Alison Crestmear and pretty much followed a idnetical storyline (with the exception of her magma form). X-Men legends II could have been any one of the, what? Ten, eleven times Apocolips tried to burn the world asunder. Ultimate univers though is based on Ultimate Avengers, more specificaly the crossover mini that thankfully died out. (Ultron was useless I swear)

As for the opening, if they had kept it exactly the same, but made it a movie instead of gameplay type fotage, it would have gone down in history as the coolist game opening of all time.
