Is it just me, or does teenagers shooting themselves in the head to evoke their Persona seem a little over the top? I can see now why it took quite awhile to get localization in Australia. The message sent from that is judt completely wrong. I can just picture some stupid kid taking a gun to head in disillusioned state and spreading their mind matter over the wall behind them with the pull of a trigger.
I think that's my only qualm with the game. I don't really like the fact that that's the way the characters evoke their personas. Even if they aren't really shooting themselves in the head, you still get the gun recoil and the reflex of the head as if it's been shot with a bullet. Oh well, I guess there's nothing that can be done to change it. Whilst I don't like it all that much, it is strangely enticing in that it's something forbidden and I guess that is why it's been included. What are your thoughts? ------------------- | |

It's amazingly sexy especially the MC and "Empress persona" where they spin it around before shooting. It's awesome to look at especially when followed by Orpheus' amazing animations. *Shwang!* That's one part of the reason why the game has an M rating anyway, You'll love the other.  -------------------  | |

I think that if some stupid kid takes a gun to their head, first they had mental problems to begin with and a game certainly isn't to blame, and second, what were they doing playing a game rated 18 years and older only?
"A game/TV show/movie/book/comic/etc. MADE ME DO IT!!!" is a ridiculous argument. People have free will and should take responsability for their actions. ------------------- | |

Technically they aren't guns, they are evokers. The reason they look like guns is because the user is trying to break past a mental barrier by "firing a gun" at their own head to summon their persona. If you watch the very start again you see Yukari trying to activate hers and failing because she just can't bring herself to pull the trigger.
It's far from the darkest part of Persona 3 anyway. | |

Yeah, the Evokers are made to look like real guns for some reason... Even the characters in the game question it sometimes. But it's cool with me.
