i got this game today, and being a big fan of ST:BF 1 and 2 thought it was pretty decent but i just wanted to post a few points about this game that i didnt quite like
just to see if im not the only person who has these thoughts

aaaanyway:
1) the mage group is reaaally overpowered and pretty much dominates over most other infantry
2) i did both campaigns in about 3 hours straight. a galactic conquest style thing like in SW:BF2 would have been cool
3) i can see this getting boring quite soon
4) heroes are just the same as the classes, with their moves doing a bit more damage
5) the sound acting of the lieutenants in the campaign bugs me to hell, they sound terrible.

PS ive yet to play instant action yet as i only got the game today

Eh. It's alright. It's better than it was in the demo tbh.

Yes!!! I agree with that. I think it's one of the most poorly done feature in the game!

That was my biggest dissappointment with the game.. It was WAY too short.

They should definatly have their own moves/combos. And are the voices really them? Some do sound like them but others don't.

That's also true but alot of people find the mage class difficult to use and they can easily be beaten if you land the first hit.

no the voices aren't them. only hugo weaving (who plays elrond) is from the original cast, and he only does the film voiceovers.

just listen to gandalf's voice, its actually quite funny

Currently this has to fall under a rent only title because of the brevity of the 2 story lines also I am playing the game on a next gen system on an HD TV... Why does it look like a last gen game?
