I watched the Gamespot coverage of E3 and GH:WT, and they showed the prototype of the new guitar. If you haven't seen it, it's like a Fender with a sunburst finish. I personally don't like it very much, but that's just me.

Do you guys think the Guitar Hero 3 Wii guitar is cooler than the new one?

In terms of appearance, I like this new one better. <3 the Sunburst. It's the finish I use on the guitar I use in the game. =D

It might have a different feel when playing it, but that shouldn't be a problem. =\

Yeah, there were some cool new features like the slide thing and the tap bass. Wonder how those will play out...

I'm not a great fan of the sunburst. But I don't particularly care about the look, as long as it plays like a peach lol.

I wouldn't say cooler though, I liked the white cause I could paint it different colours but apart from that it was dull.

it's a good thing a long time ago i decided to stick with the lp. just last week i tried out the ps2's kramer. the fret buttons are more raised than on the lp's, and i couldn't play for teh shitz. no mater how different the buttons are on the new one, it's gonna mess me up for a long time.

If you can't adapt to 'slightly raised frets', how are you going to adapt to playing the drums

I hope they keep the frets the same distance apart, it would make the trasition between les and newbie easier (as me and my bro will probably take turns taking the lead... if one of us doesn't get good at drums).

i might use the gh:wt guitar considering i need the feel of it 1st.

I don't think that the guitar looks too bad. I think it looks a bit more... Realistic than the GH3 guitar imo.

As for actually using it, I won't have too much trouble since I haven't actually used the previous guitars for longer than 15 minutes so it shouldn't be too bad.
