I have come across an unconfirmed track listing. Please don't take this too seriously, I got this from a friend who found this image in some random forum posted by somebody knows somebody who knows somebody who works for Neversoft, allegedly. Notice that a) some confirmed songs do not appear (i.e. Santeria by Sublime), however remember in the previewed track listings for Guitar Hero III, Dragonforce didn't appear, but made the song as a bonus track instead, so I can only assume those songs are bonuses or unlockable; and b) Panama by Van Halen is on there twice, which is odd, but this was supposedly "the third rough draft", so maybe they just didn't know where they wanted to put it. Whether or not it's real, it's at the very least something to talk about it, so here it is:

Somehow I doubt this is the real tracklist. For one thing, I'm sure they'd have the common sense to put in bigger hits by bands like Nirvana, SOAD, and RATM rather than the apparently random album tracks they've chosen. Lonely Day is 2:47! The fact that Panama is in there twice doesn't help this list's credibility much either.

Not Legit in my opinion. If this is the setlist, then I'm thinking about not getting it.

Stairway wouldn't be last tier, not an insane Guitar Part.

And Seriously, it doesn't appeal to me.

Orion shouldn't be played in my opinion. Needz moar... something less Cliff Burton reminderness.

I hope it isn't. Too many older songs, I want more modern songs. We have Rock the 80's now bring on some newer songs.

I actually prefer the older songs, rather than the modern crap that goes around today.

i want the songs from on tour in here like breed, anna molly, and what i want. epic songs just not that fun with 4 frets.

I can't imagine Stairway to Heaven being on this game. I would love it, but I just don't see it happening. Some good songs, but I'm quite sure this isn't a legit list.

Also, what happened to Linkin Park? I could've sworn, on Wikipedia I believe, that Linking Park was announced to be one of the bands on this game.

I seriously doubt this is the tracklist other than the fact that it is horrile. Also, smashing pumpkins dont appear anywhere in the setlist and billy corgan will most likely be in the game. Sublime like you mentioned is not on there and always on the run by lenny kravitz was the demo song and it doesnt appear too. so something tells me this is bullshit.
