I don't know for sure, but trying is worth it. We failed in Diamond. Neo's been like my home for ~5 years and for once I'd like it at a halfway respectable level for this. This forum is a new start, with a new mod, with some new people, and I believe maybe we could form a halfway decent group of battlers at the least. Though we have indeed lost much over half of our community that could halfway keep up with Beej, which I'll admit doesn't help. <_< But maybe that's what we need; try to improve upon those who aren't good.

And I'm not asking anything from anyone else but me. I'd request people help, but I can't force any of the good players back or to even help. If they do, then great. If not, I can't say I didn't expect it.


Yes, I know I'm being incredibly hopeful and maybe will be disappointed if everything doesn't go too well, but if nobody gives the effort then we've just given up, and that's something I don't wish to see.



About my (in)activity, I don't actually think you know. I wound up losing my internet twice; both times for roughly a month. Each time it has been hard trying to get back into the groove of things, Neo-Wise. Combine that with the feeling of absolute worthlessness that I had for a while..that kinda left me on MSN only, because it wasn't as freaking depressing as watching Diamond dwindle while I couldn't battle my way out of a paper bag (Eventually caused me to just lose faith.). Though I'm fine now _{(Have been for a while. Thanks to getting back into Pokemon [<3 Beej], Yugioh [ohi Elliot ] and someone else.)} and have been battling pretty much daily (Morning ritual lol).

I'm all for bringing some of that Smogonesque to the Battles forum. In fact, I'm getting pretty interested in the metagame myself.

The latest batch of suggestions have given me a lot to think about, a lot of good ideas to take into consideration.

Mini, this is where you lost me (got a little confused). Though the Training Guide was mostly just for EVs, Power Items, PokeRus and stuff like that I believe? I mean with the advent of Shoddy Battle and PokeSav, I honestly don't see it being too useful. EV training's almost a thing of the past, lol. If it's brought here, I'd sorta like a more "toned down version" so to speak. Though I suppose it is funny. I've read the guide two or three times and I don't even have D/P.

Seems RMTs are popping up and un-purposeful ones at that. Anything with a sufficient amount of power can beat its way through the story.

RMTs should be solely for competitive teams.
