I was on the penultimate floor of the tower near solaceon town. I battled the couple that was there and my Poly(Porygon) and Gallant(Kirlia) were chosen. I switched Kirlia out for my level 27-8 Gabite. the Murkrow used Pursuit which killed my Kirlia.

Poly used Psybeam on the Misdreavus but after Gabite's turn the game went through EVERY weather condition and it said:
"Sandragon was hurt by it's Sand Veil
The Foe's Murkrow was hurt by it's Insomnia
The foe's Misdreavus was hurt by it's (4got what ability)
Poly was hurt by it's Insomnia(trace FTL)"
And it did it for EVERY weather condition.


I have not used AR or GS but I got it pre-owned and the person who owned it before me had used hacks but it can't possibly effect my game file.

Yep. A case of acid rain.

Only way to fix is to turn off game and turn on again.

It's the acid rain glitch. I think every platinum game has this glitch. check bulbapedia on how to get this glitch. I do remember it had something to do with the attack pursuit.

Thankfully I'm only up to Pastoria and thus don't have a Castform or Cherrim.

At least it killed the Misdreavus and Murkrow without killing either of my pokemon.
