Good level? |
|
Okay, so I just realized I'm totally under leveled. I just got to the bath house and all the enemies are just dominating me. I'm level 12 and I assumed that I was high enough level to move on considering that all the monsters in Yukiko's Castle were fairly easy (except the bonus boss) and didn't give much XP. So any advice? What should I do before taking on Kanji's dungeon. Maybe train in Yukiko's Castle anyway or try to get some Personas there and fuse them??

are you serious? in that case i think i'm way over leveled then. i haven't even beaten the second boss in yukiko's castle (the really big king or sommin, you know which i'm talking about) and all my guys are level 23, minus yukiko who's only level 17. how are you only level 12? no offense, but that's ridiculously low.

Are you on Easy?? Becasue there's no way you took down Shadow Yukiko or especially the Contrary King on Expert or even Normal with a level 12 team.
I'd say a pretty solid level to be at entering Kanji's Bathhouse would be 17-19. And you need to be at least 23 to beat Shadow Kanji. I wouldn't go back to the Bathouse, kinda useless. Just slum it on the lower levels of the bathhouse. If you wanna use more than one day then get everyone new equipment and you should be fine. ------------------- ![]() TRISTAN ASHE | |

The key to beating the king is keeping Chie's evasion up with Yoskue's Sukukaja, keeping the kings attack and defense down with Tarunda/Rakunda with an MC persona (preferably one with Str Phys, like Ara Mitama, lvl. 19 Chatiot), Media with Yukiko, and Bufu with Chie. If there is no one to heal and if Chie's speed is boosted then Yoskue and Yukiko should just defend. The reason MC doesn't need his speed up is cuz he should have a Persona strong against physical attacks - ur options early on are Eligor (lvl 13 chariot), Ara Mitama (lvl. 19 chariot), and Obariyon (lvl. 19ish fool). Never played Easy, but I'm assumign Eligor will be enough for MC to withstand the kings attacks.

or you could just level up. honestly, i just played the king with a the mc, yosuke and chie all at level 24, and yukiko at level 20, and it was soooo easy. mind you, i'm playing easy as well, so i don't even know why i leveled up so much. >> but if you just continue farming before fighting the king, you'll be fine. when i did it, i used to default actions most of the time (unless you're fighting the beetle things which block physical attacks), so whenever i battles started it was just like "kay, rush and wait it out". went by pretty fast actually, i'd recommend it.
