wonder if you can help me out here, it´s the 21st December and I´m about to go after the main baddie in Magatsu inaba.
I´m level 78 and I´ve unlocked the following Max s.link personas:


Futsunushi (chariot)
Scathach (priestess)
Mada (magician)
Zaou-Gongen (strenght)
Sandalphon (moon)
Asura (sun)
Kohryu (Hiero)
Sraosha (justice)
Mahakala (death)
Isis (empress)
Beelzebub (devil)
norn (fortune)
Loki (fool)
Helel (star)
Ishtar (lovers)


I know they all have their strenghts and weaknesses, but which ones would you recommend fusing and levelling up for the final battle?

None of them.
Get Yoshitsune, get it to inherit Arms Master, and learn Power Charge, Heat Riser and Hassou Tobi.
With those moves (plus Enduring Soul and Apt Pupil if you can) it is the best persona in the game.

Out of those Kohryu and Ishtar are my favorites. What you need to do is make sure you fuse on skills that block their weaknesses. If you can try to get Elec Boost onto Kohryu. He learns Ziodyne, Maziodyne, Elec Amp, and Mind Charge naturally.

And trust me an Elec Boost + Elec Amp + Mind Charged Ziodyne will pack one hell of a punch.

Everyone loves their Yoshitsune, but I personally used Odin as my main attacking Persona. Ishtar for healing. And Norn to start battles fully boosted.

I didn´t have the $$$ to get Odin or Kohryu but I managed to put together a half-decent Trumpeter with the personas I had and he did get the job done.

I was at level 85 when I went after Izanami and that debilitate spell really made the difference.

Awesome game all around, loved it-loved it-loved it.
Broke my heart seeing the gang disband at the end, hope they make a Persona 5.

Even if they use new characters, I wouldn´t mind seeing a cameo of Chie, Naoko or Yukiko (like we got to see that shy girl with glasses from Persona 3 all grown in this instalment).

Chie said she´d be joining law enforcement... I´d love to see her in a police uniform!

If this is only your first play-through, i'd recomend starting a New Game+ and playing through again (i've played through 4 times in a row), both so that you can enjoy the story again, and so that you can complete the rest of the Social Links, get the rest of the Personas, and get the few things that can only be gotten on the 2nd play through.

I´ve started a new game plus just after I finished and it´s really funny seeing all the little details that I didn´t pay much attention the first time (like a certain handshake at a gas station ).

For a new game+ I'd suggest grabbing a max social link guide so you can see more of the game. That was the mistake I made replaying persona 3 FES - even not having to waste time on stat building I still couldn't max out all the social links.

I even tried following it to the letter but my s-links progression started diverging from the guide´s so much that, by the time I reached august, I just dumped it (it felt like I was playing a different game).

It´s a good thing that right now I don´t need to worry about maxing stats (diligence is the only one I didn´t max), so I can just lay back and have fun.

Izanami is a she, i should've thought that were obvious.

And Sunset, since this is your second play-through, you'll only need a guide to the social links themselves, you won't need to bother with a day-to-day guide, as they include time to level up you five attributes, which you won't need, as they will have carried over.

Not the guide I was using really. I was playing a new game+ with all stats maximised from the last game. Most of your stat boosting is either via S-Links (like the drama club) or going to the restaurant when it's raining - you can't generally do S-Links that day anyway so you aren't gaining any extra time.
