I don't mind Sceptile. He's probably the weakest, but he learns the move False Swipe, which is very good when catching hard-to-get Pokémon. -------------------

I strongly recommend Mudkip. Swampert is a really good an impressive pokemon in this game. It can learn excellent move such as Earthquake and Surf. It isn't affected by electric attacks. Plus it has good balanced stats. It's my number one. ------------------- ~~~pReSeNtLy lOVinG thE JoKeR~~~ Sign my Guestbook!!

I prefer Mudkip as a starter anyway as it does the first few gyms easier than any others, but also when you battle your rival it can learn ice type moves which are super effective against grass types. ------------------- If you come second, you're just the best at loosing.

Mine was Treeko, but I wish I would have picked Mudkip. ------------------- Creators always do this. They make something great and sell it out to people who turn it into a great big pile of s**t left by Gnasty Gnorc.
