haha im pretty much new to this game

just got a Emulator and start playing this game...

i just found out a very *sniff sniff* *achooooo* sneezing job here on sapphire version..the ash collecting..... hahaha i just wanna know how many ash should i collect before i can make black flute and the others xD i think the blue one needs 200 ash or less..... what about the others?

can i only collect ashes from grass?? o i can just walk around the area? [im tired of using super repel and im tired of kicking wild pokemon's butt]

but he's just telling me about the blue one T_T every time i made about 200 steps on the grass (cost me a lot of super repel) he just say "oh! blah blah blah you collected many ashes blah blah blah which one should i make?" them if i choose the black one he'll just say "you odnt have enough ashes"
