re: Pokémon 101 (Frequently Asked Questions)

Nope. One per Contest type... they have colored frames to tell you which is which (ex: the Beauty painting has a blue frame, even if it's not there yet)

Oh, and it's not a star... it's a Trainer Card Upgrade. For example, if it was Copper before (do one: beat the League, complete the Pokédex, have a 50 streak in the Battle Tower), it becomes Bronze; if it was Bronze (do two), it becomes Silver; if it was Silver (do all three), it becomes Gold. (If that's the case, pay a visit to the COVE LILY MOTEL in Lilycove for a Master Ball.)

Yeah, your Trainercard change colour, but it also gets a Star when it change colour. I have as example two stars now on my bronze Trainercard. I've beaten the Eilte Four, and the Battle Tower.

All two or all three what? Beat battle tower 50 times again?

Yes. Check your Pokenav to see which ones you can currently re-face.

i think he means for the objectives. like for example, beat the league and complete the pokedex, or beat the league and 50 streak, etc., not as in do objectives 2 or 3 times.

re: Pokémon 101 (Frequently Asked Questions)

Let me clear this up if I understand what you people are saying. To get a gold trainer card, you must do all of the following:

  • Beat the Pokémon League
  • Complete your Pokédex
  • Beat the Master Contest in all categories
  • Beat 50 trainers in a row on Battle Tower

Cool, I've done two of those things! I just finished getting the last painting in the art museum. One thing no one mentionned is the decoration that the curator gives you ( Glass Ornament ). It looks pretty nice, and I think it's definitly worth getting.

  • I just want to say, that you need paintings of all categories, and not just beat Master Contests to earn the Star.

    EDIT: Just completed my PokéDex.

Now, I have to go for the Paintings, I only have Ninetales as Beauty yet.

Take note: Getting the painting isn't just beating master competition. You must get a total appeal power of at least 6 hearts ( at the very end, with the stars and the hearts... you need 6 to get a painting ).

Cool! I already have the Silver Card... Just need to complete my pokédex (Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert, Torchic, Combusken, Blaziken). But I didn't know you'll get a Master Ball! I have no need for that... I wanted a Certificate!!

*erhem* Just ask any questions you have here.

re: Pokémon 101 (Frequently Asked Questions)

I've currently got a bronze card. It's pretty cool. I'm on my way to getting a silver one... By the way, for the battle tower. In any way, does it matter which challenge ( 50 or 100 ) you make? Is there a difference in prizes... or something?

No it doesn't matter which you beat in Battle Tower. There are no prize difference, it's the same prizes.

That's cool... I can only seem to go as high as 28 before I loose. Any advice on who you should use?
