Is there an easier way to get to Mirage Island without cheating? I want to get there and it would take forever to luck out by having the correct number programmed in the game.

Without cheating? Sorry, but there isn't any "easy" way that we know of. I guess it's all up to fate and luck.

Well their is never an exact number, all that really matters is that it's 'rare'.

Along with only wyauts that inhabit the island and the rarest berry that has the highest chance of being a Gold Block yeah its very rare and for a reason

Getting to mirage island requires a cheating device, maybe a Gameshark code.

It doesn't at all need an Action Replay, Gameshark, ect. All you need is sheer luck. The man looking out a window in Pacifilog tells you if you are able to travel to it. Its a very rare chance to see it.

Supposably you have to have the right pokemon in your party to get there... it says that in Prima's strategy guide

I'm thinking you need a shiny pokemon you caught to get to mirage island.

Everyday, a random number is generated by your game for each of your pokemon. Your pokemons random number changes when you put it in your box. If your random number matches, Mirage Island appears in the old mans vision.
