Well come on, it doesn't HAVE to follow every Cliché. If it did it would pretty much rend this thread redundant.
If the game follows every Cliché, we would know everything about the disease and the infected themselves already.

There's also the cliche of you not knowing and just running your ass off. It would make no sense for the infected to be weak to light. They hate light, that's pretty much it. ------------------- ![]()

well, Blood Harvest is pretty much set at day break. its the only one you can play through and pretty much see without a flashlight.

Unless you turn the game brightness up for every other campaign.
So we are talking about the Zombies and their reactions to daytime? I'm wondering also, if Zombies are attracted to loud noises such as car alarms, why not gunshots as well? -------------------

They are attracted to gun shots. A little tip for you guys which alot of people have not heard of or use often.
If you turn your flashlight of and don't shoot, you can get through some areas without attracting any zombies. ------------------- Drugs is like *bleep*ing a gorilla, you don't stop until the gorillas finished - Dave Mustaine

Oh right, that makes sense. I got through the first level without shooting at all and passed relatively easily.

Where is the fun in NOT shooting? XD
Can someone explain The Witches to me? Another level of the disease like the Boomers and Hunters? I shot one and "startled" her and she attacked me with MUCH prejudice before disappearing. (I have only played through the No Mercy campaign once.) I heard the characters saying "I hear a Witch. Flashlights off!!!" But then I never saw anything. Did that mean one was around and because we waited it out in a dark room she passed by us? ------------------- ![]() This Post Needs More Zazz.

Daisy, the Witch is basically the 'emo' zombie. It sits on the floor, and if you startle it (by shooting it, getting to close, or by having your flashlight stay on it for a short period of time) then it stands up, and chases you. It incaps in one hit. After killing one character, it flees. It doesn't move unless you startle it.

you can kill her, but it's actually best to avoid them.

Haha. The Witch was confusing at first. First time I saw her, I felt bad for her. I went up to her, trying to see why she was just sitting there. Then all of a sudden she stands up and kills me.
Witches can be pretty easy to kill, you just have to get all four survivors doing it at one time to make sure nobody takes damage from her. I think it only takes one hit before she incapacitates someone. Although, depending on the difficulty, it can take her a little while to actually kill someone. -------------------

Well, let's put it this way.... I was playing on Easy and come around a corner and saw what I thought was just another zombie, you know how they sometimes lay there until you shoot them? So I shot at her and it said "You have startled The Witch!!!" and the next thing I knew I was laying on the ground at like -282 health or something crazy like that. The AI Louis helped me up and gave me some meds to continue on, but I was still all '0_0' from it! XD

Lmao. The Witch is crazy like that. Sometimes I startle her without even knowing it, often by just walking past her while she's all angry and screaming and whatnot. She's even nastier on Expert. I think even with full health she can kill you in one hit. D:
