So, it's been a long time since I've last made a machinima, however, I really want to get back into it and make another one. That's my reason for posting here: I want to make a machinima with you guys!

A Left 4 Dead machinima is rare. It's such an akward game to try and make a machinima on. Ideal games for machinima are games like Halo 3, Gears of War, Call of Duty, etc. One thing that's going to be odd about recording on Left 4 Dead is that you can't get a clear FPS shot of the screen, you're always going to have a pistol and have no way of taking that off the screen. Nonetheless, I think we can make it work.

I had the idea of making a L4D Music Video Hell mahcinima, like the Halo Music Video Hell videos up on Youtube, but then figured it would be a bit harder to do, so I want to do a "Top 10 Ways To Tell If You're A Noob in Left 4 Dead" video. A guy called Kappy on Youtube has done several of these videos on Call of Duty 4 and World at War, and the outcome has always been great.

I want to do something like that. Just about anyone can help out, I'm going to need at least 3 other people at the least, but no more then 7. You need to have an Xbox 360, a working headset, and be able to get online at night (Eastern Standard Time). When I do record, it will be later at night because I never have time to do so during the day. If you want to help out, send me a PM or just reply here along with your gamertag. I'd like to start working on it this Friday or Saturday at the earliest.

im definitely down for this. it could be alot of fun. as for the camera issue, it only happened once but it was a really funky glitch. i was playing versus on the the rooftop finale. we took our turn. then the enemies got their turn. and then we got another turn. except i never spawned. i just flew around everywhere as a camera. it was really funky. which means theres a function like that somewhere somehow. just need to access it.

360. I don't have the PC version yet.

I can help but i don't know about how late you need people to be on. I mean EST time i'll be on until about 12:30 to 1:30.

Not too late. By late, I usually mean I'm online by 9:30-10PM. Only time I really stay up that late (2-3AM) anymore is on the weekends when I work later in the day or don't work at all.

Yeah i can do that. I mean my timezone is 3 hours behind EST so that works.

Cool. Hopefully we'll be able to start recording a little bit of it tomorrow night. I should be on XBL closer to 10PM (EST) tomorrow if anyone else is interested.

Haha, as did mine.

Luckily, my friend had a 48-hour trial to give me. I just hope I'll be able to get my subscription to Gold back by Monday. Besides we have four people now, but I'd like to try to get at least two more people before starting this.
