I mean, they are smart for AI, but mannnn, they are so dumb on expert, it's impossible to pass on expert with AI

Actually Valve deliberately made it so that the AI on Expert mode are less capable of fighting the zombies to add extra challenge to it.
So unless you want to make Expert even tougher than it already is, best to play it with other people. | |
