Humans in the covenant... |
|
I doubt this but ive been reading alot about what the covenant do and why and it starts outh that elites and prophets were the original races of the cov. and moved from there.their main goal is to completly understand and control all forerunner artifacts which are on many difrent planets in many difrent places. On their way to this goal a planet with forerunner artifacts may already have inhabitants(grunts for example).Eventualy their planent is taken over by the covies and what is left of the species is converted into their religion and their culture.

It's impossible. The Covenant want all humans dead, resistent or traitors. They would never want or need help from humans. ------------------- In my path to Hell, I shall have you accompany me.

re: Humans in the covenant... |
quote Grunt_LordI completely agree. I doubt the Covenant would want to make humans part of them. But I do think that the part about the Forerunners artifacts makes sense though. That would be a cool mission in Halo 2, to keep the Covies from reaching the Forerunner artifacts, or maybe just one Forerunner artifact. ------------------- ![]()

I think the leaders of the covenant hate humans but soldiers dont start wars they just fight them.so its like if your goverment does something and starts a war you may not agree but must fight because you may be imprisoned.I also say a documentary on the secial halo edition xbox called",the making of halo 2" and it showed the african city be blown up and a marine and an elite look at each other and the marine say "whel this is the end....hold me baby" and hugs the elite..so mabee they dont hate humns as much as they say

Yea, that's not an African city or whatever you said it happens after you beat The Maw on Legendary. Johnson and a Blue Elite are fighting over an assault rifle when they see The Maw exploding, so they probably just figured, why fight since we're both gonna die. ------------------- ![]()

quote SuperDuperMarioYes some of the covenent dont want to fight as you can tell by the grunts they like to run away and other things like that. They might not have the power to resist the covonent. now if we could get grunts on our side we could get an army of of short laser wielding cowards on our team. As for the elites I supose some are more friendlyer than others, Maybe even friendly enough to not want to fight or not follow the otheres Religion. -------------------

I haven't read any of the books and they may not really answer these questions. But if the Covenant are trying to control and understand all things Forerunner, (this is a big leap) but maybe they hate Humans because they live on a natural worlds, rather than built ones (by forerunners). ------------------- "Pain is candy for the focused mind."--Bobby Hobbes "Murder is a crime... unless your a corporation."--Me
