How many of you are planning on getting XBOX Live to play Halo 2? I think I am going to get the game on the Nov9th, and wait until christmas or later to get XBOX Live, until then, I think I am going to play on xbconnect, although, it has a lot of lag, and sucks compared to XBOX Live. did you guys check out the new logitech wireless headset, it looks great http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=1581,CONTENTID=9524 . I think I will be waiting for long time, I am thinking of just getting the 12month subscription card, and this logitech wireless headset, will that work, or do I need to get that $69.99 pack with the 12month subscription card, and the headset that comes with it. But man, the Logitech wireless headset costs $79.99. Its goin to be a while before I get this.

I'm probably going to subscribe sometime in December or in 2005 for X-Box Live. Yes, because of Halo 2. Also for other games, including Halo. But probably no one will be playing Halo on Live during then.

Halo 1 isnt even Live enabled. anyways, i bought XBL when i thought halo 2 was coming in April so yes, i bought it for H2.

the only thing that really bothers me is We buy all these equipments, and extra accessories to play online, and buy games for our xbox, and then sometime next year XBOX 2 will come out, and then we have to buy all new games to fit that system, and all these things will go to waste.

I'm doing it, along for rainbow 6 3 black arrow, and counter-strike, and ninja gaiden...

This and downloadable content would be my two biggest reasons for getting Live!, except the *ahems* at Verizon won't run DSL out anywhere near my house.

I'm subscribing to Xbox Live sometime next week. There are some games that I own that have Live support such as Ninja Gaiden, ESPN NFL 2K5 (multi-player), Sudeki, Fable, etc. Plus, I already pre-ordered Halo 2 and heard it was Live compatible.

i got xbox live about end of last month just because of halo 2 so im probally gonna beat the game first then go on xbl but im not sure im just hoping their will be downloads

I bought xbl end of the summer in preparation for halo2. I dont like seeing huge chunks of my wallet missing at once, so I figured I'd buy the $70 live, wait a few months, and buy the $50 halo. Plus, the 12 month live pack came with crimson skies, which is hella tite on live

I'm gona beat the game in a day then go online and play for a few days straight...or until I pass out. although bungie employees will have an advantage of a weeks play already (for those who didnt know) and i'm deffinetely going to get xbox live for this no doubt.

I am definitely getting XBox Live. I am grateful for XBconnect because I got to play Halo online, but to tell you the truth, it just gets very buggy. And I am quite sure that XBLive will run a lot better than XBconnect. So for me the subscription is a no brainer.
