Why do the Covenant believe humans are less intellegent and inferior when they themselves steal other technologies? whats High Charity built around?, a Forunner ship. where did they get the markings on the Elites armor?, the halos. if you watch the deleted scenes in the LE Halo 2 who do they follow as pretty much there god, if you will? the Forunners. why do they hate humans? they mistake us for the Forunners and do not want us to discover the lie they have made about the halos to get rid of the Elites, because prior to the Covenant being formed the Prophets were at war with the Elites adn losing badly. does anyone understand that?

well half of it refers to the limited edition content. one of the deleted movies showed the arbiters view of the covenant, now with brutes. it has 3 elites watching brutes take over what used to be elites jobs. then it goes the the prophet talking to the arbiter and tellin him of the forunners and why they need the halos.
did you ever notice that the covenant treat humans as crap, not literally but you know, they cant do anything and if MC does something like blows up a halo they are astonished. well i find this odd because the covenant uses Forunner tachnologies. in their weapons, armor, and even in their cities. just thought tht was odd, they think of us as inferior when in reality it is them who are inferior. did you get that?

even tho they 'steal' the technology from the forerunner, theyre still far more superior than humans. so they can brag i guess

It makes a few references in the books also if im not mistaken. But Guilty Spark and the other floating dudes confuse humans with the Forerunner which is why they are able to activate the Halos. Plus thats probably why you never see pictures of the Forerunner. Right? Does that explain it a little better Steel?

Prophets are evil. They fear the humans. They used the Covenant to their own purposes. They wanted to exterminate the humans to eliminate their threat.

Somebody in another forum pointed out an interesting point.
In Halo, they think Humans are evil and inferior, they believe the promising path is war against these humans, their cause is driven by beliefs and their "religion"(I guess you can call em, the Covenant). Now just put the western world in the human's place, and the Covanent is more like the taliban or Al Quada or whatever. They really are kinda inspiring the idea on the taliban vs. Westerners!

But as for the first question the Covanent is more intelligent in a way. Their vehicles and weapons are more advanced. Even if they didn't invent it they still got it.
